North Island Métis (NIMA) was established in November 1996 to represent and support Métis people living on northern Vancouver Island, covering the region from Black Creek to Cape Scott. NIMA is the Métis Chartered Community for the North Island and is affiliated with MNBC.
We offer a wide range of programs and events for Métis families, youth, and Elders, and provide support in areas such as health, education, housing, and more. Whether you're looking to connect with the community or access essential services, we're here to help.
